Just got this in and I love it, the handle is very comfortable the weight to it is great and it just looks awesome! It is getting hard to pick a favorite knife when the swamp keeps sending me stuff so wonderful!

Thanks Swamp Rat for another excellent blade :D

Sorry about my lousy pictures.

Way to rock the drop points!

That R6 in 1/8" thickness would be sweet!

Thanks HK!

The liners are green though, i think my camera may of added a little color to them.

But i really how they look on there as well. this is the first knife i have had done with liners and i really like the look it gives and the little extra handle thickness it adds.

Worldwood,

Congrats on another custom! I'm just curious are the liners not flush with the tang or is that just an illusion created by the camera? Either way, I love the choices you made, well done!

I didnt notice it before but there is indeed a very little gap in between the liners and tang in some areas, its not bad though, i didnt even notice it until you asked honestly.

But after i beat on it a little in the woods thats going fill with dirt and not even be noticeable LOL :)

Great pics! Yeah, the liners look turquoise to my eyes, but definitely distinct! You are making it hard to resist...

I agree with the poster above, a drop-point R6 in thinner stock would be awesome. How does the handle compare to the RMD? It looks even more comfortable - with the same vertical contours to fit the hand, additional lateral contouring, and also a smaller distance across the guard to the choil-groove - but looks can deceive. If it were more comfortable than the RMD and close in weight (i.e. thinner stock, lighter) I wouldn't hesitate to sell my RMD (and probably my GSO-5.1 as well) to get one
As it is, too thick/heavy for the length for me, but still very enticing...

I honestly like the feel of this R6 handle more than the standard RMD, And that's no easy task, I LOVE the standard RMD handle!!! the palm swell is fantastic. And I have always enjoyed thick knives and this one is great.

My regular clip point RMD with micarta weighed in at 283 grams on my scale

The drop point R6 weighed in at 414 grams on my scale. With its weight and thickness I think it will make an excellent firewood processor. Splitting and chopping should be fantastic.

Thanks, You guys have me hooked :D Not only do you have some sweet blades but you let us customize them too, hard to NOT bite that hook :)
