Sold Out

I know its been awhile but I have to rely on the CNC Shop and they must have other agendas bigger than my little order for machine work. Anyway these are very nice. Our artist son Brian put the finishing touches on them and they are beautiful!

These are made from 304 stainless steel and have carbide inserts epoxied in a milled pocket. The bolts are also stainless but the pins are steel. If the pins were stainless also they tend to be sticky so very minor maintenance (drop of oil) is suggested to make them slide nice and easy.

They come in two sizes, 2" and a 3" measured between the bolts. Most people like the 3" as they will hold most any width blade you are going to do.

The prices are unchanged for a couple years now at only $120 including Priority shipping. Please email me for paypal info.

I think you're as asking about the gap when closed from the blade to the carbide? The carbide cannot be allowed to actually contact the blade when clamped down. I grind a relief of appox. .005" on each face. This allows you to grind right up to the blade.
Bruce, what is the distance between the carbide edge and the clamp face of the 304?

Yes, thanks, Bruce. That is what I meant.
