It was a brief story on local TV news. No link. Sorry. I'll look for one.



"Bearonet" = a small bearon. This was a BIG bearon.

Those are the pictures they showed. The version was that the shooting was by a Forest Service employee and that the bear had eaten off two victims. This is apparently a "rural legend."

Don't feel bad. I fell for the attack of the cows in Wisconsin story.

(Frankly, I wouldn't have blamed the cows.)
