Good Another Beautiful David Mary Custom 🤩

Added another David Mary to the stable today.



Earlier in the year David and I chatted concerning the commission of a custom dagger. I let him know in a roundabout way what I wanted and he came up with a design. I previously asked David to make me a set of customs using his Hudson Bay and Skinny Fat Bowie designs and asked that he select all the materials and surprise me. David knocked my socks off with those two customs so I asked that he again surprise me with this dagger.
When I finally gave David the go ahead I anxiously awaited delivery - MAN O MAN did he ever do a great job!

There were a couple logistical issues due to the "mine is bigger than yours" tariffs that are currently going on. Even with a couple bucks added - what I received was well worth it.

Anyone seeking a quality knife maker should consider David. I have 4 of his pieces and love every one of them.

Truly appreciate the kind words Dennis, and it has been a pleasure to deal with you each time.

And for reference, this is my Velargo dagger model, but with a 5" blade instead of the usual 6", and the scales are Ameragrip, which is G10 and rubber, just made by a different company than Suretouch, which is the same concept..

I wish that I would have waited, most of my David Mary’s don’t have any markings showing steel or his trademark. He has really upped his game with multi piece handles and cool designs. I’m very glad he has found his calling, I for one will support his work, just hope that these trade deals don’t effect his ability to trade in the USA.

You helped me very much in 2020 and 2021 with every knife you bought from me Martin. I sold all my Spydercos, cashed out my RRSPs, and made knives so I wouldn't have to take government bail out money they were offering everyone. Haven't looked back since. I have lots of interesting things in the works and I would be honored to make you something new one of these days, if you'll have me again.

David is a fantastic custom knife maker, with a very interactive and carefully curated approach to delivering his customers a truly custom knife that is handmade with care and attention to detail.
