Another Blanket Camp (aka. Basic Kit Trip)

Thanks for the pics and the offbeat humorous commentary:thumbup:. Looks like a good time (and it made me hungry:)).

Nice pictures, that smoke fish set up was nifty and I'll have to try that at some point. When I red the cliche cooking method, I figured you were going for kabobs.

Niiice pics and rather humorous commentary! I like the knife that Andy made for you.
Are you British? I saw Ray doing the Johny cake with rum recipe... I'm a big fan also!

The first foxhole I ever dug was in a nest of Georgia fire ants. I stayed in it overnight, with predictably hilarious results. No fun. Other than that, your trip looked like a blast!

Cool I want to try this sometime! I am "camping" (provincial park) with the family next week I am definitely trying out the pan bread!

As he is such an overwhelming cabbage he decided to camp on top of a small ant nest....so he decided to 'remove' them....

.....MURDERER!

Starving children in Ethiopia would have been happy to have that protein, you know.

Next time you have to eat twice as many, or no dessert!

:D

Nice review. I wanted to ask you what types of backpacks you and your friend were using. Also, what type of hatchet were you using? Thanks for your review and help.

Any trip outdoors like that is always good:thumbup:

To wake up to birdsong in the woods is one of the best aspects too.

I like that blanket you have there, as I live in Europe I wonder if I could get one from a UK seller? Were those pup tents sufficient shelter from showers, they do look handy though.
