Hello, I'm reposting this Bushcrafter I had for sale a couple of weeks ago with a discount.
I custom made these handle scales from acrylic resin and shedded redwood needles. I was going for is a fossilized look like a the mosquito in amber but used a little green in the resin instead of amber. I also backed the scales with a reflector to get more light back out and pick up the redwood needels. It is very unusual and I think it tured out well.
Specs:
Steel: 1/8 inch thick 52100 clay heat treated with hamon.
Blade: 4.75 inch long from tip to scale with satin gray finish.
Blade Grind: Flat near scandi.
Overall Length: 9.5 inches
Handle: Redwood Needles cast in translucent green Alumilite.
Sheath: 8/9 ounce black leather swinger with brass ring and belt loop. Fire striker rod loop intergal to sheath but not included.
Price: $140 Shipped shipped in US
I prefer PayPal (my account is kelley_ward@keysight.com) but take money order and other forms of payments.
Thanks,
Kelley

Kelley - this is a beauty! I like the overall size and shape but the scales push this one into a class all its own.

Very nicely done. An amber one would be excellent too.

Hello Ray and thanks, I really like the way this came out and now that I'm set up I have a lot of ideas for scales that I hope will be really cool. Kelley
