I know this has been discussed before, although I wanted to go ahead and get vote from those who leave their clips on or take them off. I just got a plain small regular Sebenza. I like the clip off, it feels better in the hand and seems more solid. What is the consensus?

THanks, Steve

No clip for me. Like you, I just like the way it grips so much better. I'm also not a fan of clipping anyways because I'm always feel like the knife is going to fall out of my pocket when I sit. And another reason.. I work in an office and wear business attire, and a big knife clipped to my pocket just doesn't look right.

I kept the clip on my small classic Sebenza for about a week. I took it off, and it felt better in my pocket and in my hand. I don't generally use the clip, and it just got in the way...

I like the clip and keep it clipped in my pocket. The large Sebenza is just too large to lay at the bottom of my pocket.

Ok, I took the clip off and agree it feels better (small classic Sebenza). But if I put the screw back in tight it rubs on the blade. I don't think it looks very good without the screw in place. What do you all do?

I don't really mind it without the screw.

But if you want, you can buy a clip insert from CRK. $23.

Sorry, but for me ,any small knife, even smaller than a small sebbie is always a bulge at the bottom of my pocket. Clip for me !

Clip for me as well. Although it does feel better in hand without it, I find it easier to draw, put away, and it is more comfortable in my pocket with it. My large micarta is too big to be at the bottom of my pocket, and I keep other things at the bottom (cell phone, gum, etc).

Ok--put my clip back on and am happy again. It feels better in the hand without the clip but just doesn't look right to me. Besides, I also carry at different times a large classic Sebenza and a Strider SnG and SMF and must use the clips for those so I guess it makes sense to carry the small Sebenza the same way so I know where to find it.

Tim

I carry my large LE Sebbie with a clip-insert in a CRK belt pouch and my small classic ebony & gold inlaid Sebbie with clip in a slip sheath.

I'm a clip guy myself. It keeps the knife right where I want it to be, ready to use and easy to find in an emergency. I hate stuff hanging off my belt:thumbup:

I like the clips, and use them. I have never taken a pocket clip off a knife. The one on Sebbies, is an excellent pocket clip.

I'm a clipper. If I have change in my pocket (or my Fenix EO) the 2 shall never meet.

I like to clip it, clip it. I like to clip it, clip it. I like to clip it, clip it. I like to,...CLIP IT!:)
There's actually a tune to that going in my head, but typing it just looks like I have OCD:D Still, I think it gets my position across.

I prefer to clip too. It just keeps the knife where it is supposed to be, and prevents any accidential damage to its finish.

Im sure that the handling without a clip is better, yet proper carry is important to me. Id hate to have it somewhere down in my pocket-it would feel in the way....... .

Oh, and yes-the Sebenza clip is a good one. Ive been only carrying it for about 10 weeks, but I never was concerned about losing it. The clip does its job pretty well........... .
