Another day, another Cooper Arms rifle...

Helle, you wrote:Funny you should mention that. My dad is left-handed, and shoots left-handed, but all of his rifles are right-handed. He prefers this, and it does not slow him down one bit. In fact, he prefers this. He likes being able to see into the ejection port. Well, the way in which the ejection port is cut on their rifles, you can see inside from both sides of the rifle.

I am also a lefty when it comes to shooting, but still purchase the right handed rifles. as I am right handed. I had to make the switch when I received an infection in my right eye which left me with blurred vision.

I wouldn't mind trying a lefty rifle for the sake of ease. Safty, bolt, and just chambering new rounds IMO would become much easier, I think.

It never ceases to amaze me as to what a lefty can get used to in a righties world.

I started shooting with right handed rifles, most memorable is the Argentine Mauser, then went to a Ruger #1B in 25.06 for a few years until I picked up my A-Bolt ss stalker w/Boss in 30.06 in the early 90's. I love the rifle and am quite affective with it but have had the bug for another good lefty and was thinking of a Remington mountain rifle but since Coopers going to make a repeater in LH I can't think of a better option.

What scares me is what the optics will run. I may need more then lunch money to put this package together but I'm certain it'll make me smile every time I drive down to change targets or fill a tag and you just can't put a price on that smile.:D

Theirs a few guys at the gun club with Cooper Arms, I'll have to take a little more notice of them now, especially the cut ejection ports you mentioned Ken.
