Another dust collector add-on

I wasn't kidding when I said I was addicted to dust collection.

Kidding aside, I was getting a little tired of shooting wood and steel dust up my face and nose when working freehand with the Foredom. So I added another collector to this fan (that make 4 for this particular fan) for my jeweler's bench. I also made a clear box to keep it all contained as much as possible. Of course I will probably modify it a few times as I work with it and find out how well it works and how restricting it is. Always a compromise between the two.

Can't ever have too much protection so hopefully it will inspire some of you to make something similar.

You're an ingenious guy and an inspiration to me ( and many others I'm sure). That first pic is a bit scary btw..............

Personally I'm looking at buying a really small Torit system when I redo my shop.

Of course a system like that might take a serious discussion with my wife to finance. I may wind up at Harbor Freight first.

That Torit system looks interesting and maybe something I will also look at when I build a proper shop. Of course I will also have to get it approved by "The One Who Must Be Obeyed" first.
