This EDMF knife should appeal to you military style knife collectors. This is Dale Sanders'(Eight Dollar Mountain Foundry) version of the V-42 fighting knife, which finds it origin in WWII in use by the 1st Special Service Force, the "Devil's Brigade". This knife though, has a blade more like the one on the Fairbairn/Sykes "Commando" knife, as used by the British SAS during the same time period. Whereas the US knife had a deeply hollow-ground blade, the British knife had a flat-grind, which Dale chose to use on his knife. I believe, from what reading I have done on the two knives, the flat-ground blades were more durable. Many of the V-42 knives were found with their tips broken off, which occurred when the g.i. tried to use the fragile point to open ammo crates, etc.

At any rate, this is a really strong knife, as were all the knives made at EDMF. The price for this knife is ?, which will include all shipping and insurance costs. CONUS sales only and payment to be USPS money order or PayPal. First "I'll take it" here, quickly followed up by an email or pm wins the day. At present, this knife is only being offered on this site. For the people who can't access my email or pm, this is my addy:

This knife is in mint condition, as received from EDMF, never used, carried, sharpened, etc.
