Another fake strider ???

Wow shipping is only $29.90 for a knife you can shovel dirt with, geez I best shut up!

The buck ghost rider does have a camo type blade finish to it. That description is priceless!! :D

I don't know if I would call this one a "bad" fake or not. This one at least actually has the SB3 on it, and look at the box and sheath. Pretty close to the real deal this time. Also the screws in the handle at least are correct for a Buck strider.

THE only thing that would make me hesitant, (besides the camo blade) is that I have seen Bucks "ghost rider knife" with the camo blade, but they were not etched over the camo. They were just stamped and then the camo was applied to the blade.

I emailed seller for pics of the back side of the blade. or to give a description of what is stamped on the backside. Al pics are only from one side for a reason maybe.... ;)

Here was his reply:

Hello, there is a something maybe like fire and word "USA" that marked on the other side. But I don't know what is meaning exactly.

I asked him to take a picture and put it in his listing. We'll see I guess. Anyone have one of these? Is it stamped USA on the backside???????

Would it make any difference if it was stamped USA? It's also stamped Strider! :) There probably are some real Strider Bucks for sale in China, But why take a chance? There are plenty of Rolex's stamped "Swiss made" in China too! There are even some nice copies of Randal Made knives floating around the flea markets. There is no end to it! It gets to the point where you just have to buy the dealer and the knife in one package.

Is this it BUCK STRIDER cooperation with the manufacturer's third knife (formerly with TANTO 880 and is directed SP) so STRIDER BUCK sign underneath "SB3" message. There is also a to the concave C, this means the knife was produced in 2001. One thing I was very surprised that the level of just 888, and razor sharp, as though a CQB type of knife, but be so sharp or so I was surprised! It is said that the company improved blade BUCK way a lot of sharp blade, although not very precise, but very strong. Corner drop-type may not TANTO strong, but he is more durable, puncture very smooth, with the purpose of his design, I feel no need to use TANTO tip, the better water drop, because the knife master to face the enemy, not the door, although he was more than enough to deal with windows and doors and the like. The overall focus of knife done very well, waving up and precise focus distribution in place, it is lightweight and will not sell, it helped by good ergonomic handle. Although the main focus after the knife is close combat, but when in the wild, hacking branches or shovel some soil is like a breeze.

This seller is a modern Shakespeare!

I can't say about the one in that listing, but here's a picture of the bogus Bos and USA stamp on one of those counterfeits.

Kinda funny, I just logged on this morning and on the Busse forum, there is a thread running almost parallel to this one about seller from china with a fake Busse. I went with their advice and reported the item. We'll see what happens, if anything. Buyer Beware...

It's crazy that no one does anything. The link I posted stated 15 to 21 days for delivery from "Hong Kong" I mean really!!!!
