Here is a new one I tried something a little different then my normal. Hope you like it. It has now been named "The Tracker" . It is hand made from 3/16" 1095 full tang, full flat grind, edge quenched and triple tempered. The cutting edge is 5 & 1/4" and overall it is 10 & 1/8". The blade is etched and shows the quench lines. The handles are stabilized Maple burl from Burl Source, the back part of the handles are presentation Honey horn. There are two 3/16" brass pins and a nice piece of 1/4" mosaic with just a touch of red liner. Price includes hand tooled and double stitched leather sheath and shipping to the US or Canada. Wow Doug you really hit it out of the park with this one! I love all the curves and how they flow together very well.

Very nice - lovely lines and great contrast with the handle. Please forgive my ignorance though, what is honey horn? Also, what hardness rating on blade?

barnpatrol Honey horn "is Highly colored with various streaks, this horn is most rare and highly sought after". Quoted from the Jantz catalog. It is Water Buffalo horn to the best of my knowledge. The edge hardness with this and all my knives are right around 58RC. Thanks for your compliments and questions. Doug
