Another for Atlanta

WOW thanks everyone for all the great comments, I had a fire in my smithy today and seeing all these nice words is just what I needed to get reenergized. I was grinding on a red hot billet trying to get one more blade made for Atlanta when a hand full of leaves next to a wall caught fire from the sparks. My smithy walls are fiberglass panels and boy O boy did they start burning fast. By the time I got the hose, about 15 seconds , 1 wall ( 10') was engulfed and the flames were shoothing 4'-5' over the roof, water put it out quickly, thank God. I will have to rewire the press, power hammer and forge as those wires were along that wall but all in all I was 1 lucky SOB. I've been doing this for 14 yrs in this smithy and it just goes to show you, you never know whats going to happen next. Thanks again everyone.

Lin- whats this I hear that you won't be at Blade this year, you will be missed ol Buddy.

Sorry to hear about your fire. Hope the repairs come along okay. This sort of crap always happens at the worst possible time!!!

Absolutely beautiful knife!!! One of the nicest damascus blades I have ever seen!!!

Will have to make a point of checking that one out at Blade!
