I would be very interested in buying the Northfield two-blade congress but I don't know the laws regarding the exportation of Ivory. Do you know if there is any way you could send it to Australia? Does it have any documentation with it?

Sorry if this is a bit of a hassle, I'm just not 100% sure.

I would be very concerned about this knife going across borders. I will have to decline your offer to purchase the knife for your own protection.
 
Also forgot about the veining in the ivory scales.
I took a photo of the more easily seen veining - the other scale, well, I just couldn't get the camera to capture it:

Thanks anyway.
I've been looking for a nice Sunday knife, so I'll be hoping GEC does some more mother of pearl knives.
It doesn't have the difficulty of declaring, and proving the legitimacy of its source as with ivory.
