I just got my first real custom from Alan Davis and have to say that I am in love with this blade!! To top off the awesome knife, he brought it to me personally since he was taking some time off with his family.....I just happened to live in the general direction where he was heading to..... I highly recommend Alan to anyone that's looking for a high quality custom knife, he's definitely one of the Good!!

With this being my first real custom, I wasn't too sure in exactly what I was looking for, although I had first started out looking for a kitchen knife. After some emails discussing it with Alan, he gave me some ideas and we decided on the specs with the finished product turning out better than what I thought it would and this one will definitely be just at home in the kitchen as well in the woods.

Handle material; Stag w/mosaic pins and blue spacers
Grind; Full, flat grind
Finish; Stonewashed
Rattlesnake filework on spine

Your pics arent coming thru on my comp. Darn I d love to see the knife! I am a big Alan David fan. Have like 6 of his knifes! He is a jack of all trades. Highly recommend him as well!

The first custom I ever bought was from Alan. He walked me through the process and made my first transaction on Bladeforums a good one. Sweet knife by the way, the only thing that has kept me from buying another of his is that they are typically too small for me, I'm am jealous.
