I took a small file and some sandpaper to the thumbstuds on both of my SERE 2000, and that made it 100% better in about 10 minutes.Originally posted by steelfury
I have been playing around with my SERE since i got it and the only thing i don't like about it is the thumbstuds. I find them quite harsh on the thumb pads, as the sere has a strong liner -ball- retention of the blade so one hand opening is difficult.
I have managed to unscrew the thumbstud and i am awaiting some various Darrel Ralph thumbstuds from knifekits.com to make things a bit easier. I will post some pics when i have done it.![]()
