  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Another "help me choose a knife" thread. :)

It's done. Upon talking to her some more and hearing that she was indeed planning to use it as a knife and not a screwdriver/hammer/prybar, I also learned that she planned to use it a lot in her yard work and gardening. I asked her if she liked serrations and she said she loved them. (You see where this is going don't you??:)) So I pulled out the serrated salt 1 I had in my pocket and that was it. She said that was perfect. Now if I was a better brother she would have a salt 1 in her pocket now, but that's my fishing knife and it's not Christmas so her new salt is in the mail from knifeworks. ;)

I think you missed an opportunity here. If it was my sister, I would have given her the old fishy smelling knife and bought myself a new one. Sure you would have suffered a few days or weeks without it, but we both know you wouldn't have been knifeless.

Salt is a good choice here...nice work. First thing that popped into my mind was one of the sabre grind delica's, even the Kahr delica, then I thought about the Native as well. The Salt is right in this wheel house.
