Herbs for sure but it will also make an all around kitchen slicer too. I have been cleaning up my small steel drops and forging them into unique and usable smaller knives; this one is just under 1/8 inch thick at the fore finger and distal tapered to the edge and tip. a convex grind with a 3M belt finish. 52100 high carbon steel heat treated to Rc 58-60. It will ship with an edge guard but no sheath.
