Good to see the Boss and crew had some luck in Kentucky... I was fotunate to be able to get out this morning --- got to take two doe, before 7am...

I've used the Leaner on Hogs, but this was it's first whitetail action --- of course it laughed at the task (especially after skinning hogs!)

I forgot my camera in the field, but here's a quick shot of the good stuff:

Anybody else (besides the Busse crew) do any good this weekend ???

Cool :thumbup::thumbup:

LrMS is my ultimate EDC, always wondered how it would do on whitetail.

.............. just laughed huh

Eli, is that the LE ?

yep, that's your baby. she's a beater now, or we could call her well loved...

Eli, that looks great!!
Do you do steaks, sausage, jerky....a little bit of each?
Love to see the LE getting some love in the field.

Couldn't have gone to a better home ! Scale sure have developed some character

She looks much happier now :D, not just holding down the gun safe anymore :o.

I mean, how many satin LrMs does one person need anyway ? :foot::rolleyes::D

Nice tender doe meat! I had some venison from around Laredo last week that was really tough and gave me the winds something fierce. I hope you do something tasty with yours!

SWEET DUDE! did you use it from start to finish? Have you boned with it yet? and if so, how'd she fare?

You mean there are more of those bad boys available?? Help a brother out!

I swapped a satin for a DC, LrMs for a LrMs, you don't think anyone would actually part with one.

No more spares here. :o

wished I'd bought Skunk out, back when they just sat there for months

Yep, she did both deer, start to finish, except when a friend stepped in with his blade for a VERY few strokes at the end.

What do you mean by "boned with it?" I used it to cut through the brest / ribs on one just for grins, but we had a recipricating saw at the barn where we skinned them for the legs, necks and such. I have used a BM-e for that in the past, but the saw is sure easier

Congrats Eli! ....that meat makes me almost taste the tenderloins right after the hunt. A little butter, pepper and some onions...and pan'em up! delicious!!

Jules

That is sweet Eli! Next you gotta show us what you cook up with it all!! :)
