Do you do like me when its not cold out. Quarter it up, then in the cooler with ice and drain and refill with ice for 3 or 4 days. Almost good as letting it hang a few days.
The LrMrS is a great knife for this, plenty long enough with just enough belly for skinning.
I had a Deer Processing buisness for many years and about lost my love for deer hunting. This is the first year I've been in 5 or 6 years.
A 10 pointer has been coming through my yard at night but I havn't even got a glimpse in daylight:grumpy:
I let some friends hunt behind the house, I just hope one of us gets him.
Dad and I got out yesterday with a friend and three beagles. Huntin' wabbits her in NJ. I limited out (4) in less than 3 hours. Four shells, four bunnies. I was psyched. Only bad thing is that I became the brush-beater for the rest of the day. Dad ended up with 3 and our friend got one. Not bad for a beautiful Friday in the field.
