Hi all,
Spitballing again. I will be getting a Swiss army huntsman soon, and was wondering if there is any interest in a passaround? Everyone that gets it can mod it a bit, then we can have the forum vote for whoever did the best mod, and I will send a gift to them! Whatdo ya think.
And a SPECIAL thanks to Kiahs because without trading for the huntsman, this wouldn't happen!

sounds like a good little project, i wouldn't personally be interested in participating, but i think it would be fun.

Yep the other passaround is still going. I have the Mora right now and will do a side by side comparison to my new Chris Reeve Project 1, early this week!

Alright Brett, your in! I will make a list. 4 people after Brett!

Stingray are you in? I will have to wait until I get it then I will ship. Rules are pretty simple, 5 posts in the last month, about a week and a half to keep it, less if possible. AND IT HAS TO BE MODDED, and the mod has to help with Bushcraft!

I'm in....Is it all right that the mods change it a little..I have a great idea for a sac dedicated to bushcraft.

Spooky just gave a wonderful idea! If you can't think of anything to actually do to the SAK just make a lanyard! You can add a mini led, whistle, blastmatch, etc! Come on guys, lets get this going! So we can change this to a Survival Type/ Bushcraft Mod.

My plan involves grinding the large screwdrive /bottleopener into a carving chisel...great for getting those hard to reach spots Like the bowl of a spoon Is that ok?....also another neat mod someone could do would be to put attatch a nail file or an emery board...(great for smoothing out notches in trap parts and such) someone else could make a slip for the file perhaps.

I have a Vic Hunstman as my belt pouch PSK knife and love it. I use it alot, great piece of kit. Mac

Ace,

No, I just think it would be a good one. I have a few mods in mind for mine but I can just post photos. I'm planning to buy a set of Plus scales for it, the plus scales include a little pen. I also plan to make a small lanyard with a BSA hotspark onthe end. Shipping to Brazil and the risk of losing it to sticky fingers in the Brazilian postal system would be a real bummer. Mac

I believe mtnfolk mike is in also.

he's a great guy and would be a great addition.

Brett
