I just had to share this, the Modern Bowie XD XXL. This is a longer version of mqqn`s Modern Bowie XD. It`s still 1/4" thick, but the blade has been stretched to 9".

I was wondering what modified meant!

That will be a beauty!

John I'm so glad I went to you for my first custom. Folks I live in Detroit thus the reason for the 9 inches. Not sure if my other comments posted but it's like Andy was reading my mind on just what k inns do knife I had in visioned . Awesome design. Awesome craftsman. Plus I am bias John and I are both manufacturing engineers ;). This knife will be seeing a ton of corn fed Midwest white tail and plenty of walleye
