Another In Process Thread

I'd like to play like Crocodile Dundee and just say to somebody that's not a knife this is a knife
 
I was thinking of having John make me some thing smaller with this style of blade. You said 9 in???. My plan is to have a collection of about 5 or so customs. I started looking at bowies first. When I seen this I fell In Love with the fact that it's more of a cross breed. Hunting/tactical. I'm mean let's face it prob no zombie apocalypse soon so I wanted something g that would get used. This is the 9 then I'm gonna do a 7,5,3 and I do want a mini katana. Any suggestions? They will be nice to hand down one day

Andy (mqqn) is a heck of a tactical tool designer! Both the XD and DBH are his designs.
 
The DBH always did play well with others. I can't wait to see this blade in a picture like this one.

LOL Thats cool Andy. I have to agree that I'm very happy in my choice and I don't even have the knife yet. I keep reading on this forum how poeple are A&^%(*$& to newbies and such but I find this group to be very helpful and willing to teach. Tructh being told I got this bug so bad I ordered a blade( nothing special, Japanese) and have started to put a handle on it. I'll post pics even though it may not be a job from a pro. Hey you have to start somewhere. When I get my property up north, with my brother, I have already been deamed the blacksmith. Funny cause I don't know Shi*t about it but they just know I'll study it like animal. ( horse shoes, misc. stuff ) Like everything I Study I put in some serious reading time. OCD I don't know lol anyway I'm very glad I found JK and your designs. He's a good guy to work with and I have the feeling this won't be my last knife. So thanks Andy and JK for being so willing to explain and being kind. I have heard nothing but nightmares. Blah blah blah Anyway thanks guys I cant wait to just swing that bad boy! =)

geez I was just sitting here staring at it lol. Huba huba No doubt Mykel. I'll def. Make sure I post it in action. That thing is a tank for sure, just what I wanted.
