Nothing to special yet but i think its coming along. the steel is 1080 and handle will be a chunk of the green G10 its sitting on. took me a while to design the knife but i think that i finally came up with a knife that fits my hand.

hope you guys like it.

(its only about 45% done at the moment so you will have to use your
imaginations a bit)

my camera is not the best.

Looks good, how are you going to HT? Drill your pin or bolt holes befor the ht. I have used the G10 and it looks great finished. Be carefull when cutting, dust mask and gloves the dust is really irritating. I assume you are going the spit the g10 for your handles, it cuts and sands really well.

You need to drill all your holes in the handles and make sure you did not remove too much metal from the edge of the knife. If you remove too much at this point in the project it will end up with a warped or cracked blade. So you need to make sure you do not get carried away in this stage of the project.

Are you planning on heat treating the blade your self or sending it out to get someone else to do the job? I do like the shaped of the overall design of the knife. Do not expect miracles at first. The more you practice the better you will get at it. :)

You will find a lot of knife makers on here with some great knowledge to share with you, suck it all in and practice practice practice. Please keep us up to date with your project. I hope this was of help to you. Good luck and have a blessed day.
