Ohio Amish cut and milled Ambrosia Flamed Maple Clip Point. This is a choice piece of the Ambrosia Maple stabilized by WSSI. I am an avid Arrowhead collector and hunter. I like to go to my collection for inspiration on the sheath art. This one is ready for the trail or the camp.

Overall length:
11.25"
Blade tip to handle: 6.5"
Blade: 1/4" 5160H steel, satin finish with full flat grind.
Hardware: 3/16" brass and mosaic pins made by me. 1/4" brass lanyard hole, leather lanyard.
Sheath: Right hand carry brown leather sheath with large Ohio Fluted Paleo arrowhead tooled into it.

Money back satisfaction guarantee on all my knives.

Knife, leather sheath and shipping $200.00.

Thanks for looking. -Burton

I am not usually fond of maple and have never seen ambrosia maple that looks like this! This is one of the nicest handles I've seen. Stunning grain.

Thanks for the compliments. Yew this one is actually stock removal. I have been forging some knives out but haven't posted any up yet. -Burton

I did through harden these and they are tough. I tested one by putting it in my post leg vice and putting a breaker bar on it. I was able to bend it to about a 45 degree angle after almost hanging on the bar and I weigh about 250lbs:)

Burton, that's impressive and i'm sure applies to my knife as well.
i don't know why everyone is dickin' around here. it's been a week or so since i received mine, which has Amboyna Burl, and 11 7/8" OAL.
friggin' great knife ! period. factor in, it's only $200 with an awesome sheath, i bet it's going to be one of my best deals for 2009. i'm holding it as soon as i quit typing. i like it so much, i really feel like chopping up my furniture.

Here are a couple of pics of the knife in hand. Brown leather lanyard added. This Ambrosia is grade A and more beautiful in person than the pictures show. Blade has a nice distal taper and is still very heavy duty. Thanks to all for looking. -Burton

Burton, I agree with all above. That's the best looking maple I'v ever seen. Great work on the blade and the sheath with arrowhead embossed is a great idea. A nice buy at that price.
