Here's another large work knife that I recently finished...
Blade and Backspring are D2 Tool Steel
Liners are 410 stainless--liners are mill relieved
416 pins and shadow washer
Decorative mosaic pin on mark side
Scales are Jade Ghost G10 that is backed with black liner
Blade is hollow ground and satin belt finished
8 1/2" open; 4 3/4" closed; 3 3/4" tip to scales
I'd estimate the pull at about 4

Priced at $225.00 with U.S. shipping included. Paypal is OK, please PM for other options. First I'll take it does. Thanks for takin a look! -Phil Tham

I bought the previous knife like this that Phil posted a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely superb, one of the best custom folders i own, beautiful, even, very thin blade grind, never had a sharper edge from anybody. Nothing else under $400 comes close and some over $400 don't either.
For $225 it's the best deal you'll ever get.
I'm tempted to buy this one too but it's better for Phil for someone else to get it, however, if you buy it and don't like it, i'll buy it from you for the same price plus your shipping cost.

Thanks for the endorcement Roland! I was holding this one back to offer to you if the one you bought had too strong of a pull for your liking.

trkJr...I have one more of these on the bench ready for scales. Drop me a PM if interested.

redradr, i always try to post my experience with knives accurately to help other members decide what knives will suit them best. I see sharing our knife experience as the primary function of a knife forum and take this responsibility seriously.
If you've had a fair bit of experience with custom knives you will be able to see why i am so enthusiastic about Phil's work.
Even if you have had no experience with customs, you will know you have an excellent knife.
Please post back here after you have received this knife and let us know your impressions and reactions to it.
Contact me if you want to take me up on my offer, but i'm sure you won't want to part with it for even double the money.

Received my large slippy from Phil yesterday. Gotta agree with Roland, this one is awesome! So sharp and so finely finished for a workhorse beast of a blade. 8 3/4" open and hella sharp! I find myself wondering, "What other blades could I possibly need now?" This one went right in the front pocket! It's a beaut and a beast! Here's a pic(Borrowed from Phil, hope it's ok)......

So keep up the great work, Phil! Also, Phil is such a class guy that he threw in a little extra something for me. A diamond file hone set in one of his texas mesquite barrels like one of his custom pens. A sweet bonus that I wasn't expecting. Hell of a maker and blade!
