also, commments on this knife style would be appreciated.

one other comment. while inspecting this kinfe the tip strayed into my belt sander....and after shredding the belt...gouging a hole in the grinder and making a hole in one of my most comforable shirts...and taking a skin with it...the blade remained in damaged. i am attaching a picture i took right after it happened.
thanks for lookin!

Great looking knife Chris. I particularly like the part of the blade left rough.

Hope the skin you lost wasn't important:eek:
Course any skins important I guess:D

I think it's really cool. I like the shape of the blade and how you left the rough part near the spine. I don't particularly like Japanese cord wraps unless it's done traditionally on a more traditional tanto but that's just my opinion. I'll look forward to seeing one with a hamon. Overall, great job:thumbup:

Thanks y'all.
i am actually tempering the new batch this afternoon. They will also have sharkskin under the wrapping (that is the plan anyway) just as a preference...which do y'all like better brown or black wrap? thanks
~Chris

My preference is the brown wrap if the underneath is black so it stands out more. JUst like you avatar.

Glad that knife didn't do more damage to you than just some skin.

It's a good looking knife. If you could, please take a pic of it on a plain background. It's really hard to focus on the knife with that background.
Thanks

p.s. glad it sold quickly...my wife thanks you.:)

I like the Black Wraps or maybe an OD Green over the black tang (I know that wasn't a choice but....).:D

I dont think that i will use the rock as a backdrop again...too distracting....someone asked for a picture just plain. this is before i buffed up the blade. but no biggie really.
thanks for the encouragment. It means alot.

....and i plan on keeping them coming.
