Another Leafblade... this one is MINE!

I don't have a pic but it's basically a bandoleer over the left shoulder and under the right arm with the knife in front, center of the chest, handle down. I'll see what I can find on the net for ya. It's not a bad movie at all but don't waste money on the 3d version. Here's a trailer, you get a good view of the knife carry on about 21 or 22 seconds in.

Rick,

It would look sweet in mahogany leather over that anorak you made.

I like that carry method, it's sort of how I carry some of my knives on my sitka pack

have you ever considered doing a leather strapping wrap on a leafblade? I think that would be pretty slick. I'm doing the leatherwork now on a primative style bandoleer and belt loadbaring bushcraft rig, and eventually there will be a Bushkeeper mounted there. Lost my job 3 weeks ago and paypal just sent 150 dollars worth of ebay stuff to my old address in texas, charging my old bank account (which costed me 230 dollars in overdraft fees alone) so that 400 dollar hit hurt... but I'm getting a decent tax return so there may be a leafblade/bushkeeper duo in my future ;)

Excellent craftsmanship,as always! One of these days,I would love to order an S-curve from ya.

Why haven't I ordered one of his knives yet?

Must be something wrong with me ... love his designs.:)

For all its rugged beauty, it is fatally flawed and unsellable by my standards. Not only did I "double tap" with my logo stamp... but I stamped my name upside down on the other side....

Hmmm.... from a future edition of "Levines Guide to Knives and their values"...
"Most rare and valuable of the Marchand knives are the very few struck with the maker's name upside down... add 400% to value.." Ah, the best laid plans... :D
I like your knife very much Rick, nice job.

Awesome job Rick!! I always liked that style blade. For me it brings to mind the old trade daggers with a more functional handle shape.

Nice one Rick. Is it still yours, or has the wife not come home yet? :D

Rick, what kind of hemp do you use for your handles? I tried doing an epoxy-soaked hemp wrap and it went from khaki to dirty-gray in color. Yours look great! Do you dye the cord or does it come that way?

Rick, I absolutely love the appearance and design of every piece I've seen come outta your shop. I do not have first hand experience with any of them, but they sure look like winners to me!

This leafblade is no different, I absolutely love the shape of it.

One thing I might change, if I were to order a similar blade from you (alas, that would be some dollars away from my current financial situation), is that I might ask you to flip the handle around the other way in terms of width... thicker towards the blade and tapering out towards the butt. Otherwise, looks like you've got yourself an absolute winner with this one, bud!!

I love that sheath Rick, it's going to give you all the carry options you'll likely ever need.

Your knife is just beautiful. Form and function. Congrats, nice work even if it had double taps all over it. I have enjoyed the wraps on your knives, top notch. I am not a knifemaker, but after seeing your wraps, I would like to do one on a tactical hawk I picked up this summer that needs something. If you ever do a tutorial, let me know. Your knives are tops. Regards.

that leaf blade is just awesome - I like it a lot better than the previous one.

double-tap and upside down - hmm, somethin's fishy about that but hey, at least you got a keeper out of it :D

Gorgeous knife (and sheath), never really been into the spear point type of patterns before but you pulled it off amazingly well!
