I had a customer request that I make him a Loveless Inspired drop point with a couple pf changes , no lanyard and a satin finish . So since I have never done I decided to make 2 . Here it is .
Hollow ground from 3/16 , 154 CM , heat treated to Rc 60-61. The hollow ground blade has a fine scotch bright belt satin finish , the rounded spine , tapered tang and rounded ricasso has a used 400 grit klingspor belt satin finish as does the sides and back of the pinned and soldered Nickle silver guard . The face of the guard is polished .
There is a small dimple I found the bottom of the ricasso that some how I missed , bummer , asking price will reflect the bummer . It is only the size of a sharpened point on a pencil lead , but it is there .
O.A.L. is 8-3/4"
Blade tip to guard is 4" , it is 1-1/8" wide at the guard
Sharpened edge is 3-3/4"
Handle is Stabilized Calif. Buckeye Burl , clocked mosaic pins and Red Liners on the tapered tang
Guard is pinned and soldered Nickle Silver
Sheath is right Hand belt carry
