That's a nice pointy Malla. A bit different on the tip than most Malla's I think. Almost thought it was a new specimen for a minute until I saw the cho.

If you're just starting out you could do a lot worse than to snag this guy. It's pretty rare to see one offered, and rarer yet to see one at a blem price with such a simple fix.

FYI, they are $175 on the HI web site!

Ah lass,ye remember the poor ole DUCK as THE SAINT! :rolleyes: I almost forgot,I haven't been good....thanks to my associating with that JP!! :D he IS THE great corruptor!! Me ,still just a poor old researcher,collecting a wee bit of K's or at least trying too! Don't stand much of a chance with all these SHARKS around.All I can do is ......!

If I may,allow me to enlighten,on the BDC,it's a "little" dif.breed of cat!Cat??YEP,YOU BETCHA,"she''IS QUICK & CONCEALABLE"JUST RIGHT"!!I happen to be blessed or cursed with big hands, an M43 fits perfect.However it's kind of difficult taking an M43 everywhere.Other K's ,I sometimes have to adjust to,the BDC fits large & small hands,Lady picked it up smiled went oooh!I SAID "don't even think about it"!! NO!! YOU CAN'T TAKE IT HOME!!I don't care if she pouted & did look cute!!MY K'S ARE "MY"K'S! I have a "few" horn(really nice)& now a wood,will advise on handling of both if you all wish!!

And Jim, advice on handling the different materials is always welcome, as are reviews. We could always use more khuk reviews (plus I'm curious as to what you're latest "research" has uncovered). ;) :p

Yes Duck, I know about women and the BDC. When I got mine, my wife who is very small, picked it up and said with a smile "OOOHHH a Cindy sized khukuri!" I was scared she was going to keep it.

Gorged and bloated on Himalayan steel, this shark slowly sinks out of the frenzy to find a quiet place to rest and digest. His mate swims along side him, gently nudging him away from the shiny objects, trying to keep his gluttonous ways in check.

He won’t be back for awhile. He will rest, contented with his delicious meal of Jangee, BDC and AK.

I've been distracted myself lately. Have two items coming by the mud brown stagecoach and I ain't letting him pass til he throws down the strongbox with my goodies in it.

Me too. But I just snagged yesterday's 20" AK and today's Gelbu Special, so I'll have to wait a bit. :D

!!,I now know what your DI felt like dealing with a ......,.At PI,your bunk wasn't tight enough,you got yelled at for being uncovered,you screwed up in close drill AND you lucked out on the Range(remember locking in the seated position )!!hee!REASON large hands fit is there is no pointy butt metal triangle to pintch big hands ,smaller hands fit ...ah well YOU get one bet YOU AGREE(even if it kills you too,you are honest to a fault)As for using it in MA....I TEACH a little blade ,so I guess I know a little,course I'm just a rank beginner!
