Another Monday has come, it will be interesting to see if my folder blades are going to be heat treated this week.

Took them in a couple of weeks ago but the heat treater didn't have the specs for Sandvik 19C27. When I found the spec Moe had gone on holiday, sure hope he is back today.

This folder project is really taking a long time to come together.

Hope you are both well? I think we are coming for a visit in the new year. Christmas is in TBay this year and I have spent all my holidays for the year already:grumpy:

Hi Craig, got your news yesterday, sounds great.

The blades are still in heat treat, nothing but problems. Going to have to make a rule for myself not to purchase any new steel without checking with Moe first, can't afford to get him upset...need him too much.

Finally have the folder blades back from heat treating. Now I can get to work finishing off a couple of these knives. 19C27 treated to Rc 59.
