I'm not too familiar with Moras. Is the Mora blade thicker than the Opinel blade?

Kidding aside, what tools did you use to get the Mora shaped into the folding knife form? My guess is that you cut it roughly then ground off the rest, but I'm not a very creative person and you may have a far more elegant way of doing it.

You're right. The laminated mora steel is too hard so you need special bits and grind. The first cut is roughly then ground off.
