Another MT Copy

Hummm. Thanks for sharing. Wonder if this thread will garner the same outrage from folks that threads on srm, enlan, etc do? Somehow I'm leaning towards.......probably not.

Did Marfione figure out some way to copy knives indiscriminately without any repercussions? Seems like when the ZT ripoff came out, Thomas mentioned that they would take legal action if necessary, but they've done nothing and now there's a production version of their fake. Now he's moved on to copy other makers and it looks like no one's going to stop him again.

I bet if you stickied these threads on this forum and have it done on other forums as well(knifeforums, the "greener" forums), Marfione would be feeling the pain for years when his customer base suddenly evaporates.

Maybe not this thread, but MT has been catching a LOT of outrage here and on other forums (even the microholics) over their recent copies of Kershaw/ZT knives, especially the ZT777.

MT's approach is somewhat different than SRM , Enlan, etc. MT copies the design, then sells it for double or triple the price :D.
