another new 730 ares Benchmade 730-1303

Saw it, drooling, trying to decide to drop the hammer or not!

One of my favorite folders in one of my favorite steels.

Lot a bucks though!
 
Nice. Looks somewhat like the earlier Leupold model, but without the combo edge. Wonder when it comes available?
 
It says temporarily out of stock. Did it sell out already or has it not been offered up yet?

It hasn't sold out. It's the first time it has appeared on there. That is the standard text put in place while the product is organized at the store and prepares for sale. Patience grasshopper.
 
When I was looking at KnifeWorks earlier this morning, it did not say ""Temporarily Out OF Stock", it had a price. They've changed it to out of stock in the last hour.

I really want an Ares, but I wish it was cheaper regardless I would buy one if I had the money and it was available.
 
Damn, the timing on this and the new Contego release is rough. I need both but buying myself presents at this time of year seems kind of messed up... :o

I would get the 730 because its limited to 300 pieces made and that's it..no more will be made..the new Contego is a "limited unlimited" which means it will be available as long as their is a strong enough demand for it..it will probably be available for a few months.

I know it's a limited run of 300 pieces but that price for S30V & G10 seems rather high!

For slightly more you get the unlimited limited Contego 810-1401 with M390 and beautiful two-tone G10.

Regardless, the limited & unlimited editions are the only Benchmades to get now! :thumbup:
