It's in the normal ballpark for a non-gold Benchmade limited edition. If it was production I would definitely agree, though.

A NIB 300pc Limited Plain/Satin edged Ares for $187. shipped seems like a good deal, especially w/ the current pricing climate being what it is. The Contego M390, great deal as well. I personnally would prefer the 810 out of these two, however if I could only afford one at this time, the Ares seems like the smarter money.

Thing is, last year you could get one in M390 with a really classy looking black G10 and silver hardware/clip/liners combo for that price (well, $190).

I like the Ares but none of the three from this year have really done much for me.
