Ya I'm gonna buy like 5 so when they discontinue it I won't have to pay 300+ for one...

yeah, i'm glad they are going back to putting out a bali with metal handles, keeping to the old 42 look. As much as I like the morphos and the 53 Mangus, I like solid metal handles.

I'm not a balisong guy either, but I should try one someday.
The knife knut side of me really wants one. I used to buy balis as a kid at the county fairs, there was a tent that wuld sell them for $5. They were pretty cool, until mom thought otherwise.

It's nice that Benchmade is coming out with another model, but it's not really something we haven't seen before. I mean, is it just a smaller version of the model 42 or what?

Good to see. I'd like a pocket-clip, and I looks like it might not have a spring-latch, and that would kinda suck -of course I could be wrong about that. -Maybe they're gonna try to keep the price down...?

I hope it's titanium and reasonably priced . cant stand g10 bali's

you sir are the voice of reason. i could deifnatley deal with steel, though, i agree that g-10 balis that arent steel lined are to light to flip well.

if they made a chinese made version that was >100 id die of shock and delight.

@siggy what are you smoking good sir??? why would anyone want a spring latch?????? i hated them with a passion, one of the strengths of a balisong is that they dont have any springs or small moving parts to break, why would you introduce a potnetial mechanical failure into something that is so simple and elegant in the first place. i guess i could deal with a pocket clip but i really dont find it neccessary and it conflicts with my traditionalist views on bali's.

this looks like a true heir to the model 42

cant wait for it to come out. :)

adding a spring to the latch won't affect the function of the knife. Remove it or break it and it still works.

a smaller size with ss handles instead of Ti, a build after my own heart. though I wouldnt mind the spring latch still.
