Another new ESEE fan thanks to the Izula!

Welcome to the family! Great story about growing up outdoors like many of us did. I love that wrap on your Izula sheath, I'll have to try to figure it out.
 
Oh boy do I have fun abusing my Izula. I messed up the edge pretty good today when I was cutting some light covers for some florescent ceiling lights and I accidentally struck a stainless steel table flush on the edge. I should be able to clean it up just fine though in a few minutes on my japanese water stones. Once your coating starts wearing off you will really love it! Can't wait to get my Junglas...
 
Welcome to the madness! Nice job on the wrap. I've never seen that type of wrap on the sheath either. Can you post a pic or two of the other side so we can see how you tied off the ends?

Real nice wrap job, I too have just been bitten by the RC / ESEE bug! I got my first RC6 one week ago and have been using it ever since, just had to order the Izula last night, now im already wanting "needing' the 4..... oh yeah and HEST folder when time comes, welcome.

Sorry for not replying, ive been busy cutting everything i can find lol

I tried to take some pics of the back of the sheath when i took the other pics, but they didnt come out for some reason. Unfortunately, i redid the sheath and tied it onto a leather belt loop, so i wont be able to take pics of it. Ill try and do the same wrap on my other Izula when i get it and ill do a how-to on it.

Heres how it is now. I actually love this configuration. I can wear it vertically on my 3 or 4, or i can put my belt through the wrap and wear it horizontally on my 6:thumbup:

I made one fatal mistake though. I showed my dog how useful it is, and now he wont give it back. I have a feeling were gonna come to blows over this one:p

And thanks for the compliments on the sheath. Its made a handy edc even more handy. Ive got a few ideas rolling around in the noggin about making it even better though, so stay tuned for another configuration in the near future.
