I contacted Robert Dark (who goes by Roosko here) a little while back with a design, sent him a sketch and he knocked it out of the park! I wanted something simple (I'm all for simple working knives) in O1 steel and natural Micarta scales. I wanted a wide tip for prying apart wood, with a nice belly. Just under a 6" blade, 3/16ths" thick. (These are his pics by the way, I haven't got it yet, but I couldn't wait to show it!
)
I also mailed him a Doan mag firestarter and he did a sweet job on a pouch for it!
In hand shot
I'll post more when I get it and get it out to use. Again, I am so blown away by the makers we have here on BF. Some outstanding guys with very reasonable prices.
