Got the call on the 15th that my Ebony inlay is done, Oh I can't wait. Pics soon hopefully.:D

SWEET!! I love the ebony inlays. I am long waiting on my small micarta 21 so I know how you feel.
 
Travis, you are a regular old succubus (spelling, heard it on southpark). We need a family shot when you get it. The ebony inlay is on top of my list.

Large Ebony with silver hardware.

What makes this even cooler is the fact that the knife was made on my birthday. I thought that when I ordered it would be kinda neat if it shared the same date, but honestly I was more concerned with just getting my order in and did'nt think about it much after.

Today when I opened it up I was in awe of another fine CRK, funny thing was my wife was standing next to me and was the one who noticed the date on the card.

Niiiiiiice. Ebony can't even be imported anymore as it's rare and in serious decline in South America. That means CRK has a nice big pre-ban log of it at their disposal. I saw three at a local mill the other day and it's insanely heavy. You'd never be able to drive a nail into it and the owner said you 're better off milling it with steel milling tools and bits.
