I call this one the Belt Hawk. It`s made from 1/4" O1, and has a head 4" from front to back, a 3" cutting edge, and is 11 3/4" overall. There is a bit of the heat treat scale left on for that "old time" look. The handles are lightly torched oak, with 5 -1/8" brass pins, and is 9 1/4" long. SOLD.

It may seem strange, but I really enjoy making hatchets and hawks. Or maybe I`m just strange!

That looks pretty good John! Do you know about how much it weighs?

1 lb, 4 oz, on my wife`s handy dandy digital food scale. Micarta would be slightly more. I can`t believe the response this one has got! It already sold, and I have inquiries on two more! I`m adding this to my line of standard models.

This is a great looking hawk. Even better news is that it falls into my price range. Ill be eager to see what else you make up in this price range.

I like it, and I'm not a big all steel hawk guy. I plan on picking one up when the finances are looking better, hopefully before the end of the year.

Response to this one have been crazy! I posted it in the axe forum, lot`s of interest. I now have 3 confirmed orders for them, in micarta.

I`m taking orders for October delivery on these right now. If interested, email me.

While I really like your Nessmuk axe idea this is more in my price range and has caught my eye as well. I have to check with my wife first, but I believe Ill be putting an order in on tonight. Any chance on some more pictures and an in hand shot?
