Been lurking around the forums for a while now, finally decided to say hello to fellow BK&T fans! And just wanted to show off my itty bitty EDC Eskie....stripped, patina'd and wrapped. Canvas micarta scales in progress a little jimping soon to come. Aloha from Hawaii and thanks for a great site with tons of useful info!

Welcome!
That's a nice setup you've got.
That patina looks nice. What did you use?

Welcome and holy shit I love that name. :D

We get a lot of questions about how we keep our knives rust free. What are you using on yours? Mineral oil seems to be the most popular choice because it's food safe but just wanted to check with someone in a really harsh climate.

Good ole olive oil!

welcome! nice setup. i have a nice KBknives (Kona Badger here on the forum) 14 sheath as well... it is very nice. well built and was reasonably priced. mine can be worn on the belt, scout style, or even around the neck. ambidextrous too...lately at work i just have my 14 in my pocket... so because it (KB) is a little thick (unless i remove the straps and leave it as a neck sheath), my 14 has been riding in my nice streamlined Skystorm hip sheath. thanks for sharing. use it well

Nice 14. I want one!!

I really like the paracord tie job you did. Quite different then the usual wraps seen around here..:)
