Most of you know that our friend and true Porch hall-of-famer, Bob (Big Biscuit) recently passed away after a long bout with cancer. I didn't know Bob as well as many of his good friends here, but my interactions with him were all first class, in keeping with the great gentleman he was. The proceeds from the sale of this knife will go, in his memory, to the college fund set up for his grandson, Bo.
Queen Dan Burke #65 Baby Sunfish. Gorgeous sunburst bone scales with scrimshawed historical Queen logos. Barely used and in very good condition, with some feint blade rubs. 3 5/8" closed. D2 steel.
This is a stout (at 3.1 oz.) and very well built knife. The blades are offset, not crinked. The pulls are smooth and moderate, "just right" IMO. Single spring and no half stops.
I have sharpened the blades to nice edges, so you are spared that initial Queen/D2 headache. A beautiful and unique knife.
