Really nice knife Phillip - looks like you won the battle for sure. What material so you use for the spacers in the guard? That is some gorgeous ironwood.

The spacers are 303 stainless and that black carbon spacer stuff. Not sure what it is, really.
The guard is 416 ss. Pins and thong tubing are 304 stainless.
 
That's a mighty fine looking knife! Beautiful handle, elegant blade. Good work!:thumbup:

Looks great! Can't wait for mine. I haven't added a knife this size to my collection yet, but you are making it very difficult to resist. I really like your style.
