Another one knife only thread....? Or is it?

Reves' Pacific is a civilian copy of the knife used by elite units today.Mmmmmmm.I have used Kabar for camping here in NM and points west for about 50 years with few problems. I like the Kabar. But if I could go back in time to WWII I would take the best as if my life depended on it.Pacific,Strider,or Busse sound good to me.If I had to pick this sec. I would pick the Pacific, just in case the flame thrower went empty.

There is only one fighting blade.

Probly take my busse comp edge hell razor as it's a good fighter and jungle blade, and a sog powerlock.
But as others have said, you don't want to tangle with a Jap up close.
The bayonet they issued was very long and the Japanese trained in hand to hand quite abit, although a westerners physical strength would help quite abit against the typical Japanese light and quick soldier.
I geuss the piece of equitment I would like to bring most would be a Calico smg, FN P90, or some other extremely hicap handy smg.

I'd probably stick with the good ole kabar. Or whatever the new marine bayonet/fighting knife is that thing looks pretty nasty.

I'd probably take a Randall model 1 with a 7" blade, and a khukuri like the guy in "Death Watch". I would never use my knife in a combat situation though (unless I really had to), that's what guns are for.
