Another Pass around- A Buck 112

Count me in,on second thought saw one at Orchard Supply 34 bucs
new, alright thanks guys never takes me much of an excuse to go
buy another knife this will be my 4th or 5th 112 gave the rest
away Thanks Mike. It must be some sort of mental illness I have
but it sure is fun

Well, I passed the Buck. I enjoyed carrying it around while I had it. Very handsome knife. I missed the one-hand opening of my regular EDC knives, though. If I had one of my own, I'd put it in a more compact sheath, and look to getting a thumb stud for it. Overall, I'm impressed with the design and strength of the knife. I would also like a better blade to handle ratio. It took a mean edge, and seemed to keep it quite well for the steel.

As you can see, there are pros and cons, but for the price, you can't go wrong. Nice starter knife for the non initiated.

Hey guys,

I have had the 112 for the last week and a half. I am dropping it off at the factory to be sharpened and cleaned up. I found the knife to be to small to open and close with 2 hands. The point of the knife kept digging into my left hand when I closed it. No cuts! If this thing had a thumbstud it would be ideal.

Anyway, who is next on the list? Who do I send this thing to???

John

Not going to go throught the trouble of overseas mail and all for a little knife like this.

Today I bought a buck 112 :)

I remember this passaround that was done with the buck 112 like it was yesterday.

In searching BF for buck 112 information tonight I found the old thread for the passaround.

Wow, it has almost been a year!

I don't know what took me so long to get one.

I have a brown leather sheath coming from Lefter4him.
I can't wait to get it.

Did anyone else that took part in the passaround end up buying a buck 112?

Even though I hardly ever post in forums other than W&C I read this, among other forums here daily.
FWIW I really admire the amount of trust that is givin here. I'm not sure if I could ever send someone one of my babies to test out for a week.
