Another perfect Benchmade

Nice scores. I'm getting close to capacity with my accumulation agin, but I have to admit that Bailout still tempts me.

I've had good luck with Benchmade the past few years. If anything, the most I have to deal with is a slightly uneven grind at the tip, but that's a pretty easy fix.

I have had nothing but good luck both from FTF dealers and private sales. I searched and searched, couldn't come up with the "perfect for me" daily pocket carry, went from Stryker to Foray to a Proper in a clip slip holster, finally went to purposely look at a Fact and was less than impressed. In the next case over were the 940's, I picked one up and left with it in my pocket. I had been avoiding all the cartridge type frames because I didn't give them a chance - fully lined frames are the best right? Well, unless I am camping, this knife is in the pocket of whatever I am wearing. Camping is generally with a 150 Cub.

Happy Thanksgiving all!

i buy most of my benchmades used, because i have a prefer a lot of the discontinued models, so they do sometimes have issues. the new ones ive gotten recently (a 417 & a custom 15080) were both perfect as far as i’m concerned.

the worst problem i’ve ever had with a new bm was a bit of vertical play on an 810 i got a few years ago. no worries tho, it worked itself out on its own as i broke it in.

I was in Cabelas today and had to have the 417 Fact. Looked at this knife at Benchmade but didn’t purchase last week. Very nice almost 4 inch blade of S30V. This one is nearly perfect with a slight favor to one side when closed: another great knife!
I bought one today...another perfect Benchmade! :) It's like a 21st century BM Spike

I have to admit I have not bought a Benchmade in many years but I have always found them to be manufactured to a very high standard. I'm considering a 551 as pictured above or the newer carbon fibre handled Bugout, I expect I won't be disappointed.
