Does anyone have any good pictures of a Buck 110 with oak scales?

Thanks,
Allen.

Kine ticks me off that unlike Jim's, my logo insert is a bit tilted. But I still like it.

i tryed to not see in the reflection ... you hurt my eye...
no the 2003 issue with a 2002 emblum... i have the same thing with out the emblum ... my question is which come first that one with the hole and was buck jest useing up the hole scales or the one with out and had the holes left so used them? i know... i will ask trax!!!

Seems the "Anvil" started out as the 2002 / 100 year / date mark and sort of "morphed" into a "Custom" mark. I like it. I wish they would leave it on all USA models and just put the date mark with it. (next to the model number as usual).

That's my 2 cents for this evening. Good nite!

Sara Buck mentioned in one of our emailings that they were looking at going to a year stamp on the customs... As it is right now, you wouldn't know a 2006 from a 2002 on a like knife. That was back in December '05

But it hasn't happened yet.

I for one, would like that... Others may not...

What? That in the pic with the certificate you can see, on the front bolster, the reflection of a nekid Jim taking the picture?

:D

Sorry about that guys, I'll stop taking pics nekid :D
I would also prefer the date stamp on "customs"...

Thanks for the pics, they were plenty good!

But now I can't decide what my next Custom 110 will have: oak, walnut, or Koa flamewood.

Regardless, it will have nickle-silver bolsters and a BG-42 blade.

Allen, I know you didn't ask:rolleyes: but...I would get the Koa flamewood first, then the oak and lastly the walnut. Just because the flamewood willl have more figure to it and I like that. GET ALL THREE:D. Preston

Yeah, I like koa as it's a hawaiian wood and I grew up there. Unless here it means wood collected at a KOA campgound. But I would get the walnut before the oak. Like Mr. P. said...hell, get all three Allen. You've been a good boy and deserve an early Christmas present set for yourself.
Easy for me to spend other peeps money!!! :)

Note: my Oakie is #1283

Okay, now I need more pics of the walnut and the Koa.:o

I'm just a poor X-ray technologist, so all three might be a bit tough to manage.

Okay, now tempt me with the walnut and koa.:D

That's a neat knife, Goose, when I first looked at it I didn't see that it was a fingergroove...adds to the cool factor. Not sure about the no rocker rivet:confused:. If you sent it to me I wouldn't send it back;). Preston

Me personally I would go with the KOA flamewood first, then the oak and the walnut last.
Buck has several models with the "heritage" walnut... The only model that I KNOW of with oak is the one posted previously... I have never seen a KOA flamewood in a factory model probably is but not very common???
