another problem with my handle

hi there,

just as i thought it worked out, there came another problem. I now have i combat knife handle (those round ones with the slots in it) wich i dont know how to attach to my knife, the handle is 9.3 long, the knife 8.5 , but i'd rather not cut the handle in half, cause it's now perfectly round, and probly if i cut it its scr*wed up.. does someone knows another way of attaching it?

We wish to help the but the question needs some details like: what kind of tang is that (full or hidden/stick), do you have a pre-made handle which is cylindrical ? Do you want to attach a hidden tang handle to a full tang blade? Is the blade heat treated kit knife or not?...

i already solved it, i just fixed up the handle what was already on it, instead of making a new one, but thanks for al the help
