I asked earlier "What to Get?" I am leaning toward the LCC due to advice given but now wander which is best for everyday use, stonewashed blade or bead blasted? I saw that "One Stop" has the blasted model on sale. Seems like an exceptional deal!

Let me know please, sale will be over soon! Thanks so much. -Dave

Stonewashed would be my suggestion, the beadblast will show scratches sooner...if you don't plan on really using it then the beadblast would do nicely.

It's a great knife by the way!

and welcome to the forums, the LCC is probably the buy of the year without a doubt.

I have the LCC in stonewash and my Sebenza is in stonewash. It is so nice not having to worry about those little scratches that really shouldn't matter anyway.

Incidentally, I am completely amazed at this knife. It is so well put together and incredibly rugged. This has to be the best buy of the year.

If you conatct 1SKS on their Friday the 13th sale you can get a Stonewashed MT LCC for less than $5 more than the beadblast (Not that I would know

). If you plan on carrying the knife, this is the way to go.

STONEWASH all the way. With a little work you can polish that galvanized look out to a pleasing frosted/mirror look.

Stonewash. Bead blast catches rust because of the little moisture trapping craters in the surface. Stonewash shows wears and scratches less easily too. I had a stonewashed UDT and loved it (but traded it).

Definately stonewash if the knife is going to be a user.

After reading this post I ordered a plain edge, stonewash LCC from 1SKS. My wallet hates you.
