Eh, has anyone else ever got knives from the anal-retentive shipper?

I need to go to the hardware store and buy some tools to open the box. I’d do it with a FBM but not with what is inside.

.

Thats a good way to ship it. Customs officers sometimes feel you don't deserve such a nice blade and take it upon themselves to relieve you of it and care for it themselves but they do forward the empty carboard box to you!

I’m glad to say that in the sarcophagus we did not find OP’s youngest brother

.

I predict that it is not a blade at all, but something tobacco or alcohol related, and probably the latter. :D

With a couple eye-hooks and a chain would be perfect for neck carry.... ;) :p

Wrong... now send me that SHBA you just got. :D

Doh!

Ah well...

Oh, and mums the word on that SHBA thing. I don't need no HOGS kicking in my door in the middle of the night to get their hooves on it. We can only talk about it in code and when we've been drinking (haven't you ever heard of plausible denial???).

Id rather have to take the time to get it out of that then have it all messed up in a cardboard box with a handful of packing peanuts. what model is that?

Well I’m just giving the shipper a little bit of a hard time. It was a GREAT way to ship a knife.

That is a stright handled battle mistress SHBM. Because of the swedge tip it is refered to as a 1-300 and it is significant because they were the first 300 SHBMs made and -as I understand it- the SHBM is generally significant because it was the first Busse production knife produced in INFI.

Here are two other cool ones. LEs

I do agree thats a great way to ship anything! Thanks for the info! So older models had the screws and newer ones the tubing? Hows the chopping affected by straight handles? I just bought a FFBM and am waiting for it to arrive (after I pay..oops) That will be my first Busse so im very new to all this...:o
